London Class of 2020: Facts and photos

London City Schools hosted a graduation parade on May 24 during which students drove to the school to pick up their diplomas. That same day the district posted a pre-recorded virtual commencement video on its YouTube channel.

Of the 145 students in the class, 18 graduated with honors, 18 were members of National Honor Society, and three were members of the National Technical Honor Society.

The valedictorian is Richard Geib, who plans to attend The Ohio State University to major in chemical engineering. The salutatorian is Ciara Cooney, who plans to pursue a degree in nursing and work to become a physician’s assistant.

The class officers include: Aubrey Cline, president; Kylee Long, vice president; Sara Madden, secretary; and Richard  Geib, treasurer.

The class flower is the carnation. The class colors are red and white. The class song is “Hey Look Ma, I Made It” by Panic At The Disco. The class motto is a quote from Ricky Bobby, a character in the movie, “Talladega Nights”: “If you ain’t first, you’re last.”
