Legacy Boxing & Fitness is a new addition to the business landscape in West Jefferson. The studio held a soft opening in mid-October and a ribbon-cutting on Nov. 21.
Located at 12 W. Main St., Legacy Boxing & Fitness offers group fitness classes, boxing classes, and personal training for people of all ages, skills, and fitness levels.
“Everyone is welcome here,” said Zach Sexton who owns the business with his brother, Caleb Sexton, and Brian Holstein. The Sextons grew up in London. Brian is a former Madison County resident.
The studio’s fitness classes are presented in a high-intensity circuit format and feature boxing elements. Among the offerings is a women’s only boot camp called “Legacy Camp.” Boxing classes are tailored to benefit anyone, from the person who wants to learn the sport for fun and exercise to individuals who want to pursue boxing competitively. The studio also can help athletes condition and build strength specific to their chosen sport.
The three owners pride themselves on offering personal instruction that makes their boxing and fitness studio more than a gym. Zach and Caleb come from a strength, conditioning, and weight-lifting background. Brian is a boxer. Each of the three have 10 to 15 years of experience in different types of training.
Legacy Boxing & Fitness offers free trials for boot camps and classes. Class schedules are posted each Monday on the company’s Facebook page. For more information, call (513) 283-6153.
