| Forty years ago the Groveport Madison Cruisers were a dominant force in varsity wrestling in the old Mid-8 League winning four consecutive championships in the 1960s. Pictured here is the 1967-68 team celebrating in the locker room following the school’s fourth straight league title. In addition to being league champions, the team was also undefeated in dual meets in 1967-68. Team members were Dan Esswein, Gary Lang, Tom Sparks, Lynn Conkel, Ron Miller, Don Miller, Don Stokes, Coach Robert Carter, Bill Marshall, Kurt Baker, Mel Jackson, and John Queen.
