Vanessa Hackett, 7, of Galloway gets a treat from Morrison Healthcare Executive Chef Robert Brake and Morrison Healthcare Director of Food and Nutrition Ashley Thorson at the annual Taste of Westland event. The event, held Sept. 11 at the Prairie Township Community Center, attracts organizations and businesses from throughout the Westside and gives residents an opportunity to learn about these groups that are right in their backyard. Taste of Westland is sponsored by the Westland Area Business Association.
