Members of New Hope Assembly of God Church got the parade crowd moving by playing upbeat music.
Squirt the Clown and his sidekick, Cool Cat, made the scene and entertained the crowd along the parade route. Squirt played his famous "trick flower" stunt on many an unsuspecting member of the parade.

Parade Grand Marshal Ed Rarey led the parade.

Drummers from the Groveport Madison High School Marching Cruisers pounded out a beat as the band played stirring patriotic tunes as it marched in the parade.

Warren Motts (driving) and veterans and supporters of Motts Military Museum took part in the parade by riding in a vintage Army jeep.

Pat Wears of the Groveport Water Department and the village’s public works department, handed out flags along the parade route.
