This picture, taken in the early 1900s. shows the first threshing machine drawn by horses in Madison County. This picture was taken on the Dwyer Farm. The salesman on the left is D.B. Sanford. The gentleman on the right is Mike Dwyer, one of the founders of Dwyer Bros. Hardware. The gentleman on the threshing machine is unidentified. Cheryl Dwyer provided this photograph.
