Paul Offenburger, 101, graduate of the Grove City High School Class of 1940, attended the dedication on July 28 of a two-sided monument to the city’s first two high school buildings – one built in 1910 and one built in 1928. The monument is located just west of Park Street Intermediate School and was donated by the Southwest Franklin County Historical Society.
