The Home on the Rock Ruby Enrichment Program is a homeschool drama group consisting of students of all ages, including students from Madison County. The group, in its 14th season, provides an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents while offering family-friendly entertainment to the local community.
The cast will present “Mystery at Shady Acres,” written by Michelle R. Davis and produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Denver, Colo. The mystery is set in the 1920s at a worn down hotel. Everything seems to be going a little crazy. When the wealthy Mrs. Fairfaxe’s necklace is stolen, things get even crazier. Come see the police and their competition try to solve this interactive whodunnit.
Performances are set for 7 p.m. Dec. 3-4 at Calvary Baptist Church, 17376 State Rte. 34, Marysville. Admission is free. The group will accept donations and offer a bake sale after the performances to help offset production costs.
