Homes on the Hill to host homebuyer’s workshop

Representatives from Homes on the Hill, a HUD-approved counseling agency, will conduct a Homebuyer Education Workshop at 10 a.m. April 8, at Westland Area Library.

Daniel Ruggiero and Marilyn Pritt of Homes on the Hill will discuss homeownership and the different services available to potential homebuyers. Topics include applying for a mortgage loan, down-payment assistance, minimum credit score requirements, interest rates, homeowner’s insurance and more.

Space for the workshop is limited. Call 614-878-1301 ext. 603 to reserve a spot.

Homes on the Hill is a community development corporation with a mission to   strengthen neighborhoods by providing quality affordable housing, advocacy, education and supportive services to individuals and families of primarily low to moderate incomes and a vision to be the exemplary housing counseling and development organization in central Ohio. Since 1996, the organization has purchased and rehabbed more than 100 owner-occupied and rental housing units.
