Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) CEO Patrick Losinski signs a steel beam at a Nov. 16 ceremonial event commemorating a construction milestone of the Hilltop Branch. This was the final steel beam that was affixed to the renovated library branch, scheduled to open in 2021. This event marks the topping out of the second project in the second phase of CML’s aspirational building program. The Hilltop branch, which was built in 1996 with 20,000 square feet, has been undergoing major renovations. When completed, the transformed branch is expected to be approximately 32,000 square feet.
