On May 20, the Highland Youth Garden on the westside hosted a Spring Fest for the community. Residents were invited to learn about the garden and see what it has to offer. According to Shelly Casto, the executive director of the youth garden, they will host a Summer Fest from 4 to 7 p.m. on July 14 and a Fall Fest from 4 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 13. The garden is located at 67 S. Highland Ave. in Columbus. Here, 8-year-old Amon’ee Mitchell, her aunt Mya Mitchell, and 7-year-old Sania Douglas tour the youth garden.
