HELP House seeks donations and volunteers for Easter Basket Outreach

H.E.L.P. House Community Outreach is sponsoring an Easter Basket Outreach on March 27 from 9 to 11 a.m., March 29 from 4 to 6 p.m., and March 31 from 9 a.m. to noon. Baskets, candy and toys will be handed out to customers as they arrive for food during regular pantry hours.
Volunteers are needed to help distribute bags on each of the distribution dates. Many hands are also needed to help prepare the bags of baskets, Easter grass, candy and additional basket items for the distribution on March 24-25 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The community is also invited to donate small books, toys, plastic Easter eggs (in packages, no loose eggs please), chocolate crosses and Easter bunnies, wrapped chocolates, and jellybeans. Monetary donations for the outreach will be used to purchase additional baskets and basket items. Donations can be dropped off at H.E.L.P. House, 122 E. Center St., London, on Mondays from noon to 6 p.m., Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and Saturdays from 8:30 to 11 a.m.
