HELP House collecting winter coats, hats, gloves

Winter is on its way, and more than ever, HELP House wants to make sure that children and adults with limited finances have access to the winter wear they need.

HELP House is holding a winter coat outreach for children from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 10 and Oct. 17. Coats for adults will be distributed from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 24.

HELP House is collecting new and clean, gently used coats for children and adults, as well as hats, scarves, gloves and mittens.

Volunteers are needed to help with set up and distribution. Call (740) 852-1980 for volunteer dates and times. Masks and social distancing guidelines will be followed during the outreach event and during volunteer hours.

HELP House Community Outreach is located at 122 E. Center St., London.
