Health Department offering flu and pneumonia shots this week

Madison County Public Health is offering flu and pneumonia shots as follows:

Oct. 4–Mount Sterling Community Center, 164 E. Main St., 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Oct. 5–Pleasant Valley Senior Center, 390 Allguyer Dr., Plain City, 1-2 p.m.

Oct. 6–Hurt-Battelle Memorial Library, 270 Lilly Chapel Rd., West Jefferson, 1-3 p.m.

Clinics are subject to change due to vaccine availability. No appointment is necessary. Bring your Medicare (part B), Humana, MediGold or Medicaid card with you. Most commercial insurance is accepted. If you are not covered by insurance, the cost for the flu vaccine is $27.17 and high dose is $67.32. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay.
