Jeffrey May, a volunteer with the Southwest Franklin County Historical Society, adds another log to the fire at the Haines-Black House in Century Village. The holiday event at Century Village was part of the Grove City Christmas Celebration held on Dec. 4.
SWFCHS volunteers Ruth Osborne (left) and Linda Crews (right) were in charge of keeping the cookie trays and wassail cups filled at the Kegg-Kientz Log House. All of the tasty treats were made by members of the SWFCHS.
Mrs. Claus (aka Barbara Howison) proves she can also attract an adoring crowd as she poses with Abigail Warren at the Grove City Christmas Celebration on Dec. 4.
Gary Gardner uses tin snips to put the finishing touches on this homemade star ornament. The SWFCHS volunteer has been tin crafting since 2007.
Asher Ren, 4, gets a ride from Trigger (and an assist from Horse-N-Round Fun handler Deonna Haight) at the celebration.
