The folks at Groveport Town Hall wanted to give the community an outlet to do something fun to celebrate the arrival of summer. So they created works of chalk art on the parking lot in Groveport’s Blacklick Park that people could interact and pose with for photos to share with the community. The various chalk drawings include a whale, hearts, trees, a hammock, a rainbow, a swing, a dolphin and more. Pictured here, from left to right, are Abigail Kemper, Elli Stegall, and Jillian Kemper as they pose with the chalk whale. Abigail is perched on the whale’s tail and Elli and Jillian are sitting atop the whale’s water spout. Email your selfie photo of yourself and friends posing with the chalk art to Kristin Figliola at kfigliola@groveport.org and she will post your photos on Groveport Town Hall’s Facebook page.
