The Grove City Division of Police and Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce invite you to Coffee with a Cop, 9 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 16 at Panera Bread in the Shoppes of Grove City, 1786 Stringtown Road.

Join Chief Jeffery Pearson and officers for a unique opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the division’s work serving the Grove City community. The program expands the division’s outreach to citizens continuing the Grove City community policing philosophy.

There is no agenda, just a casual opportunity to ask questions and share ideas over morning coffee.

“Many of the contacts law enforcement officers have with the public occur during emergencies or sensitive circumstances,” said Pearson. “Those situations are not always the most effective for learning the community’s needs and relationship building.”

Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative designed to advance the practice of community policing and improving relationships between police officers and the community.
