Santa Claus came to Groveport during the city’s “A Heritage Holiday” festivities held on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 in Heritage Park. Santa is pictured here waving to children after lighting the city’s Christmas tree as Mayor Lance Westcamp (right) looks on.
The Groveport Madison High School Band performed holiday music during “A Heritage Holiday.” Pictured here are Cruiser trumpet players Alyssa Pfaub (left) and Riley Cartmill.
Groveport Mayor Lance Westcamp, noting that not all homes in Groveport have chimneys for Santa to scurry down to drop off gifts, presented Santa Claus with a special magical key Santa can use on Groveport homes without fireplaces.
A candlelit path around Palm Pond in Heritage Park lit the way for old fashioned horse drawn wagon rides during “A Heritage Holiday.”
