On Aug. 2, two teams of Groveport Parks and Recreation Department lifeguards competed against 13 other teams int he American Red Cross State Lifeguard Championships in Kettering. The team made up of (from left to right) Zach Huffer, Maddie McCoy, Devon Shull, Atticus Murphy, and Matthew Harrell won the state title. It is the sixth time since 2008 a Groveport team has won the state title.
