Groveport Madison Schools Superintendent Garilee Ogden will welcome parents, students, staff and the greater Groveport Madison Schools community join her at the 2019 State of the Schools Celebration on March 5, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Groveport Madison High School, 4475 S. Hamilton Road. The public is invited.
At 7 p.m., Ogden will provide a brief update on the district’s accomplishments over the past year, as well as the challenges confronting the district over the next few years. She also will highlight some of the new initiatives that have been launched during the 2018-19 school year, and share her vision for the district’s future.
There will also be an “Information Gallery Walk,” featuring displays from each of the district’s 11 schools.
An array of music performances featuring students of all ages will take place throughout the evening. Guests are encouraged to check out the art that’s on display as part of the district’s Annual Art Show. Guests can cast their vote for the “People’s Choice Award,” which will recognize a special art selection from the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Guests also will enjoy refreshments prepared and served by the culinary arts students from Eastland-Fairfield Career Center.
