School buses, or "school trucks" as they were called, are shown here lined up to pick up students in front of Groveport School in 1928 in a photo from "The Voice," the school’s student newspaper. According to the November 1928 "The Voice," out of 180 students in Groveport Madison High School, 117 were transported to school in the school trucks. The district had nine school trucks in 1928 that covered 12 routes for all 12 grades. The routes included not only Groveport School, but Brice and Edwards elementaries. |
