The Groveport Madison High School announced their nine Class of 2018 valedictorians. The students are:

•Lauren Barnes – She is the daughter of Lisa and John Barnes. Barnes will attend Ohio Wesleyan University and major in chemistry. She plans to go to law school to pursue a career in environmental law.
•Audrey Brown – She is the daughter of Angela Cramer, a GMHS graduate. Brown will major in Middle Childhood Education at Ohio University. She hopes to return to teach in the Groveport Madison Schools district.
•Carolyn Cramblit – Her parents are John and Denise Cramblit. Cramblit will major in Pre-Med and minor in business at Capital University. She plans to become a fertility specialist.
•Cheyenne Evans – She is the daughter of Leah and Sam Evans. Evans will continue at OSU main campus to major in nursing.
•Alyssa Gordon – Her parents are Jon and Jennifer Gordon. Gordeon will attend Ohio State to major in linguistics.
•Kaitlyn Martin – She is the daughter of Jody and Kelly Martin. Martin will continue at Columbus State for one semester, then transfer to the University of Cincinnati to major in Pre-Med. She plans to become a pediatrician.
•Seth Porter – He is the son of Kristy McGuire and Bill Porter. Porter will attend Miami University, where he will major in Political Science and Statistics.
•Carsyn Saunders – Her parents are Angela and Ronald Saunders. Saunders will attend Otterbein University to major in accounting.
•Morgan Whiting – She is the daughter of Emily and Christopher Whiting. Whiting will major in pre-med at Wright State University. Her plan is to continue her education at the University of Toledo, and become a doctor specializing in Orthosis and Prosthetics.
