The city of Groveport partnered with Nixle to implement a community notification system to alert residents in real-time for localized emergency situations, relevant community advisories, and community announcements. Once residents have registered, they can receive information regarding street closures or delays, a waterline break, when a street will be cleaned, or find out about a event the Recreation Center or Town Hall. To register:
•Text 43125 to 888777 from your mobile phone to receive mobile phone text messages. This will provide you with general city-wide alerts and announcements, as well as police department alerts and advisories, on your mobile phone.
•Text the keyword below to 888777 to sign up for department-specific announcements that interest you. (Note: To receive general city-wide alerts and announcements you must also text your zip code to 888777.) Keywords:

In the near future Franklin County Emergency Management & Homeland Security will announce a separate county-wide mass notification and warning system, ALERT Franklin County, for emergencies and alerts. Groveport will also be part of this system.
