Grove City welcomes new public service director

Shannon Hamons

Mayor Richard “Ike” Stage announced the appointment of Shannon Hamons, as public service director, following the promotion of Cindi Fitzpatrick. Hamons, a Grove City resident, brings decades of public and private sector experience filled with successes.

“We are truly pleased to welcome Shannon to our team,” said Fitzpatrick. “With his extensive management experience and track record of driving success through collaboration, I’m certain he will continue our history of service excellence.”

For more than three decades, Hamons was instrumental in managing and improving major operations in Ohio and Texas communities.

“Shannon’s thorough understanding of local government coupled with his in-depth knowledge of program and project management make him well-prepared to lead the city’s public service department,” said Stage.

“I’m extremely excited to finish my career serving my hometown,” said Hamons. “It will be my privilege to help improve our exceptional community.”
