Residents of Madison County were transported to the past when the Madison County Historical Society hosted its annual Pioneer Days Sept. 23 – 24. Held on the museum grounds at 260 E. High Street in the city of London, visitors were able to walk into the historical buildings such as the cabin of Jonathan Alder and the log house of Elizabeth Kitchen and speak to local history buffs and reenactors to get a sense of what life was like 150 years in the past. Among those local history buffs and reenactors who attended the Pioneer Days were Grove City residents Lisa and Steve Ball who delighted the visitors with music of the Civil War.
