Grove City Christian School students take the stage in “The Nutcracker”

Three Grove City Christian School students will be performing in the 2022 production of BalletMet’s “The Nutcracker” along side professional dancers and fellow students of the BalletMet Academy in downtown Columbus.

Lucía Guardia Pérez will play duel roles as an Angel and a Mother Ginger. Guardia Pérez has been in the production for several years, including playing the role of Clara in the 2021 production. This is the first year being cast in “The Nutcracker” for Brynleigh Dague, who will play a Transformational Mouse, and Clara Guardia Pérez, who will play a Nice Party Mouse.

“The Nutcracker” has enchanted audiences since 1978. An imaginative tale where Clara and her Nutcracker Prince take a magical journey with unforgettable characters and costumes with choreography by Gerard Charles, and music from the Columbus Symphony.
