The Violet Township Bicentennial Committee would like to invite any community group in the Violet Township area that is interested in using the new Community Sound System to a training session which will be help on Oct. 14 at the Pickerington Public Library.
The session will be held from 10 a.m. to noon in Meeting Room A. The Library is located at 201 Opportunity Way across the street from Pickerington High School Central.
To use the equipment the group must provide proof of insurance. There is a $200 refundable deposit and a $25 rental fee. The equipment includes two portable mics, four regular mics, a mixer and amplifier, two monitors and four large speakers. It also has a CD changer and Cassette tape player.
The equipment has the capability of providing sound for a large outdoor setting or for a smaller indoor performance.
