The refurbished Groveport Madison High School Alumni Hall of Fame was rededicated during a ceremony on May 18. The hall of fame was originally located in the former high school on South Hamilton Road, but when that school was torn down the hall of fame was moved to the new high school’s mezzanine area. The 48 member alumni hall of fame includes an astronaut, doctors, educators, military heroes, historians, community leaders and more. “Our new high school represents new generations, but we would not be here without the support of our alumni over the past 120 years,” said Groveport Madison Schools Communications Director Jeff Warner. Added Groveport Madison Alumni Association member Kathy Frank, who noted the accomplishments of the alumni in the hall of fame, “They’ve achieved so much. When I read their biographies I’m at a loss for words.” Pictured here is Suzie Price of Groveport as she looks at the hall of fame plaque of her family member Louis Haines.
