Giving thanks to Wreaths Across America

The Hilltop Historical Society would like to thank long-time Hilltop resident Monty Chase as he honors the Navy Wreath he has placed at Camp Chase Cemetery as part of Wreaths Across America on Dec. 14. Thanks to the efforts of the John Hoover Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for supporting the group with wreaths. Thanks to Refuge Ministries for their support in putting out the flags and to the many other volunteers who came out in the rain. About 250 wreaths were placed throughout the cemetery. This was just one small part of Wreaths Across America, an effort that places more than two million wreaths at cemeteries across the country.
