Get connected in Groveport at the next Connect with Groveport event on Friday, Oct. 3 at the Groveport Recreation Center, 7370 Groveport Road. Doors open to the public at 4-7 p.m. Admission is a donated can of food per person.
Connect with Groveport is a community event in its third season. Events are held bi-annually, spring and fall. Attendees have an opportunity to meet face-to-face with businesses and organizations from around the Groveport Madison area.
Whether you are looking for something specific, just browsing, new to the area, or a life-longer, this event is ready to serve you! Attendees can also enter to win a $50 gas gift card.

Highlighting this fall event is the "tallest can tower in Groveport" contest utilizing the donated food brought in for admission. After the event, food will be boxed up and distributed through the Groveport Madison Adopt-A-Family (GMAAF) program.
A few other vendors will also have GMAAF donation specials including Sandy Ward with Cookie Lee jewelry. Sandy is donating her profit at the event to GMAAF. The jewelry prices are an affordable range of $3-$20. Mary Kay consultant Diane Todd is featuring a kissing contest booth as a fundraiser for GMAAF and a Mary Kay Foundation. Each participant pays $1 to enter, applies Appleberry Lipstick and kisses a card with their name and phone number on the back. The cards are displayed on a large poster with numbers and visitors vote on the winner. The chosen winner receives a Mary Kay prize item.

October’s "Meet, Greet & Network" is on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at a NEW time, 4:30-6 p.m. at Go Groveport, 607 Main St., Groveport.
