Greg Johnson, (with basketball) Angie Sayers (back) Grove City High School teacher Beth Bricker (right) teacher Kris Jacob and Bob Kingston participate in the Grove City High School wheelchair basketball game on May 2. The greyhound student council sponsored the event to honor Grove City 2005 graduate Dan Potokar, and recognize "Disability Awareness Month." Potokar is a 21-year old Ohio State University football player who has been diagnosed with testicular cancer. He is undergoing stem cell/chemotherapy treatments with his family at Indiana University. Randomly selected students and teachers took part in the wheelchair basketball game. They played against wheelchair basketball players from the Moraine Minutemen in Dayton, the Buckeye Wheelers from Columbus, and BlazeSports Columbus.
