It’s time to feed your gardening mind, and there are plenty of upcoming opportunities to learn. Check out events on seed starting, fairy gardening and more.
• Community Expo. (April 26, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at London Elementary.) Stop by the Master Gardeners’ booth to learn about starting seeds. Make a pot from newspaper and take home a pot planted with seeds.
• Plant Sale. (May 10, 10 a.m.-noon at 1445 Itawamba Trail, London). The Master Gardeners will host a plant sale during the Lake Choctaw Community Garage Sale. Check out the reasonably priced perennials, shrubs, herbs, gardening accessories and hanging baskets for Mother’s Day.
• Fairy Gardens 101 Workshop. (June 18, 6:30 p.m. at London Library). Learn from three fairy garden wizards about steps to making these popular miniature gardens.
