Enjoy a relaxing afternoon viewing some of the finest gardens in the Grove City area with the 16th annual Jo Bostic Memorial Garden Tour on June 22, from 1 to 5 p.m.
This self-guided tour, hosted by Keep Grove City Beautiful and the City of Grove City, starts at the Gardens at Gantz Farm at 2255 Home Road. Tour participants pick up a program and a map to guide them to the gardens at five private homes in the area as well as Heartwood Nursery in the historic Town Center.
The variety of gardens will heighten your senses with wonderful displays of color and fragrance. This year’s gardens include shade-loving, decorative ponds; colorful annuals and perennials; koi ponds; zero-grass landscaping as well as classic and non-traditional garden architecture.
All proceeds benefit the Jo Bostic Headstart Program in Grove City.
Advance tickets are available at City Hall, 4035 Broadway, and the Grove City Service Department, 3262 Ventura Blvd. Tickets also will be available the day of the tour at the Gardens at Gantz Park farmhouse at 2255 Home Road. Tickets are $5 for the general public and $3 for seniors (60 years and up); children 12 and under are free.
