Fun at Zucchinifest!

This year’s Obetz Zucchinifest, held Sept. 2-5 got off to a fun start with the annual Car and Motorcycle Show with cars of every shape, size, make, and model surrounding The Fortress.
Griffin, 7, Lucy, 5, and Owen, 10, of Bellefontaine headed down the “Fun Slide” at the Zucchinifest.

The candy was flying as the Zucchinifest parade wound its way through Obetz led by a float carrying Obetz City Council members and Mayor Angie Kirk.

The Zucchinifest parade featured the Hamilton Township High School Marching Band, color guard, numerous cheer Squads (shown here), area teams, various festival queens, politicians, and more candy.
One of the largest crowds at The Fortress came to hear Boys II Men perform hits like “End of the Road” and “I’ll Make Love to You.”
Great White provided the Zucchinifest audience with their rock and roll fix closing with their biggest hit from 1989, “Once Bitten, Twice Shy.”
