The Madison County/London City Health District is offering flu and pneumonia shots at the following locations this year:
- Oct. 5—Hurt-Battelle Memorial Library, 270 Lilly Chapel Road, West Jefferson, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
- Oct. 5—Health District, 306 Lafayette St., London, 2-4 p.m.
- Oct. 9—Health District, 306 Lafayette St., London, 10 a.m.-noon
- Oct. 15—Health District, 306 Lafayette St., London, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
- Oct. 19—Health District, 306 Lafayette St., London, 2-4 p.m.
- Oct. 26—Health District, 306 Lafayette St., London, 2-4 p.m.
- Nov. 2—Health District, 306 Lafayette St., London, 2-4 p.m.
- Nov. 9—Health District, 306 Lafayette St., London, 2-4 p.m.
- Nov. 19—Health District, 306 Lafayette St., London, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
- Nov. 23—Health District, 306 Lafayette St., London, 2-4 p.m.
Clinics are subject to change due to vaccine availability. No appointment is necessary. Bring your Medicare (part B), Humana, MediGold or Medicaid card. Most commercial insurance is accepted. If you are not covered by these, the cost for the flu vaccine is $26. No one will be turned away due to inability to pay. For more information, call (740) 852-3065.
