Firefighters donate $2,000 to food pantry

The Jefferson Township Firefighters Association hosted a pancake and sausage breakfast on Nov. 4 at the fire station. The event raised $2,000 for the Good Samaritan Food Pantry in West Jefferson for holiday meals.

In attendance at the check presentation were: (from left) firefighters Chase Alexander, Devin Wohrle, and Phillip Cavinee; food pantry representatives Sharon Garvey and Linda Collins; and firefighters Jim Troesch, Adrian Negron, and Kenneth Mayes.
