On the evening of March 21, the Madison-Plains High School FFA chapter hosted its 76th Annual Banquet.

With approximately 530 people in attendance, the chapter gave out awards and degrees, recognized CDE teams, honored outgoing officers and installed new ones, held an auction, listened to Ohio FFA State Treasurer Emma Wells give her speech, and did many other activities.

One of the largest, if not the largest, events the high school puts on, the FFA banquet brings the community together yearly to celebrate the students’ success over the previous year, uniting everyone in support of one another.

Madison-Plains High School Senior Anna LeGault gives her farewell speech, bringing her time as FFA chapter president to a close.

The unwavering support of this community was on full display when Madison-Plains FFA President Anna LeGault stepped forward to give her retiring address. With all eyes on her and the room’s attention in the palm of her hand, she delivered a touching speech. Many members and guests were left with moist eyes and an understanding of how much FFA influenced LeGault as she closed this chapter of her life.

It’s safe to say LeGault has many people rooting for her as she moves forward to attend Delaware State University and begin her journey of this thing we call life.
