Fall-themed fun in South Solon

Melissa and Chris Crabbe, residents of South Solon, organized a fall festival for the community to enjoy. Wagon rides, pumpkin decorating, craft sales, and a baked goods sale were among the attractions. The event took place at South Solon Park on Sept. 25.

Adults and kids alike enjoy a good game of tug-of-war.
Carole Akers proudly displays some of her handiwork–fall-themed crafts and a variety of mini zucchini breads, including traditional, snickerdoodle and lemon varieties. The Washington Court House resident has family ties to the South Solon area and has enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafting and baking for most of her life.
With the village water tower looming above, a wagon ride heads out for a spin around town.
