Sometimes giving your opponent a lift is the best path to a take down. That seems to be the case here as Franklin Heights sophomore Noe Silva works his way to a 9-3 win over his 160-pound opponent from Dublin Jerome, junior Othman Taha. The two faced off at the 2021 Division I District Wrestling Championships held March 6-7 at Hilliard Darby High School. Silva would finish the season with a record of 15-6.
Franklin Heights junior Jaiden Reed is shown here on his way to a second round win over Noah Rosen of New Albany. The two competed in the 126-pound class.
