Falcons fall to the Comets

Franklin Heights hosted Central Crossing on Feb. 1 for a non-conference varsity match up. The Falcons fell behind in the first half and held their own in the second but could not make up the difference.
Franklin Heights sophomore Cheick Fofana got in to reject this shot by Central Crossing’s Brandon Woods. Fofana also contributed five points at the other end.
Shown here in the tip-off are Franklin Height’s Wonderful Ayodeji (40) and Isaiah Bridges from Central Crossing. The Comets came into the game looking for their first win of the season. They maintained a 10-point lead for most of the second half and walked away with a 37-27 victory, moving their record to 1-11 while the Falcons record goes to 4-10.
