Prepping for state qualifier

Joelle Self, 16, washes her Tennesse Walker named Keep’s Royal Aire as she prepares for Wednesday’s state qualifying. She is from Mount Sterling and belongs to the Trailblazers 4-H Club. Her trainer is Jennifer Moshier (partly hidden on the right). Self went to state last year with this horse and placed in the top five.
