The Dr. Bender 5K Classic race will be held July 25 at the Canal Winchester High School, with a one mile fun run at 8 a.m. and the 5K at 8:30 a.m. Register online at www.drbender5k.com or the morning of the race. There are age group awards, an alumni/team challenge and door prizes including a pair of Beats headphones and an iPad Mini.
The event is the Canal Winchester Indians Cross Country Boosters annual fundraising 5K race honoring its past coach, Dr. John Bender, and benefiting the cross country teams for the Canal Winchester middle and high schools.
