| Glenda Johnson and her granddaughter, Anastasia Hall, both members of the Leave a Mark Church team, take a lap around the Groveport Aquatic Center as part of The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, held in Groveport Park in Groveport on June 27-28. Relay For life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event. According to Tez Reardon, the event has raised $17,000 so far. "We are still waiting on some matching corporate gifts from some of the teams," said Reardon. "We hope by then that we will have raised over $20,000, which will be more than we raised in 2007." She said donations will be accepted through Aug. 31. |
