Hundreds of humans and their canines came out to Breck Park on Oct. 6 to participate in Ted Berry’s third annual 5K Rescue Dog Walk/Run. According to the Grove City councilman, the event has raised over $11,000 for the animal rescue organization, Speak for the Unspoken, as well as the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Shown here are a few scenes captured during the family friendly event. Kasey Lumsden and her pooches Baku (left) and Sadie hang out before the race. Baku was wearing protective booties to help reduce his risk of getting allergens on his paws.
