
Seventy-eight years ago, Marilyn ‘Mimi’ Trapp stood on the field at the Grove City High School football stadium and waited to see if she would be crowned Homecoming Queen. On Sept. 15, 2017, the 95-year-old stood on the field, waiting to be recognized for her achievements and dedication to public service in the community. Here, prior to kick-off, Trapp is presented with a proclamation by Grove City Mayor Richard ‘Ike’ Stage with her grandson Christian and GCHS principal Bryan O’Shea by her side.
