Santa Claus heard Christmas wishes from children like five-year-old Canal Winchester resident Rhiannon Miller during the city of Canal Winchester’s annual Christmas in the Village celebration on Dec. 7 and 8 in downtown Canal Winchester.
Addie Parker, center, a junior at Canal Winchester High School and named Miss Congeniality in a local competition this summer, alongside Nora West, left, 6, a kindergartner at Indian Trail Elementary who was named Tiny Miss Canal Winchester Queen earlier this year, passed out holiday cookies to children in line waiting to see Santa in the Huntington Bank building during Christmas in the Village.
Santa Claus arrived in style on a vintage fire truck during Canal Winchester’s annual Christmas in the Village celebration.
Canal Winchester City Councilman Mike Walker not only entertained the crowd at Christmas in the Village by spinning tunes as the event DJ, he sang holiday songs as well.
