As teammate Nicholas Sweeney looks on, Jason Appel takes aim at a target with a toy bow and arrow wearing glasses mimicking visual impairments during the Canal Winchester Lions Club Challenge on Aug. 15. The event raised money to support service projects such as vision screening for children as well as for community organizations. Twenty-five teams – 13 bicycle teams and 12 running teams – raced around Canal Winchester to decipher clues and complete challenges.
