The Groveport Madison Cruiser boys varsity basketball team recently defeated two teams that were in first place in the OCC Capital Division. On Jan. 25, they beat previously undefeated Canal Winchester 70-64 and on Feb. 8 they downed the Newark Wildcats 46-43. Pictured here is Cruiser Elijah Hawk posting up and calling for the ball in the game against Newark. The Cruisers’ final regular season game is Feb. 15 at Big Walnut. The team will then begin tournament play against St. Charles on Feb. 23.
