Groveport Madison High School football team wide receiver Izayah Aekins makes an acrobatic catch during a drill at the second annual Le’Veon Bell High School Elite Exposure Camp held May 14 at Groveport Madison Middle School Central. Bell, a running back with the NFL’s Pittsburgh Steelers, is also a former standout Cruiser running back. According to camp officials, the goal of the camp was to not only teach football skills to players from throughout the Central Ohio area, but to also emphasize to the student athletes the importance of education and making good life choices. “We’re using football to draw them in, but I hope they leave being able to imagine the possibilities of their future with a higher education,” said Bell.
