Cruisers crush Warriors

The Groveport Madison Cruisers unleashed a mighty running attack and powered to victory over the Westerville North Warriors 31-6 in the season opening varsity football game held in Cruiser Stadium on Aug. 30. Pictured here is Cruiser Jalil Underdown (7) running for yardage with the help of a big “pancake” block (at right) by one of his offensive linemen. Underdown also scored one of the Cruisers’ four touchdowns on a 16 yard pass from quarterback Colin Rice.
